About Brooke
Brooke has served as a physician assistant to Dr. James Goris since July 2010 specializing in total joint replacement and sports surgery focusing on knee, shoulder and hip. Brooke assists Dr. Goris in formulating diagnoses and treatment plans as well as assisting him in the operating room. She also provides preoperative and postoperative patient education.
She attended Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and was a graduate of the Butler University Physician Assistant program in 2004. Her interest in Orthopaedics led her to pursue a career with OrthoIndy in Indianapolis. In her 5-year career at OrthoIndy, she learned the dynamics of total joint reconstruction and sports medicine. She was the assistant to the team physician for the Indiana Pacers for 4 years. Brooke grew up in Newburgh and returned to the community in 2010 with her husband, Brandon, and her two boys, Garrett and Asher. She enjoys volunteering for her church, coaching her son’s soccer team, and taking walks in downtown Newburgh. She is currently serving on the PA Advisory committee for the future University of Evansville PA program.
