Joint Replacement Reunion Night with the Evansville Otters
Hosted by Deaconess Hospital, Orthopaedic Associates and ProgressiveHealth
Deaconess Hospital, Orthopaedic Associates and ProgressiveHealth are co-hosting a Joint Replacement Reunion Night at the Evansville Otters on Wednesday, June 29 at Bosse Field. The three organizations partner in the care of joint replacement patients and are committed to patient well-being and improved health. More than 1,200 patients have a joint replaced each year through the Joint Replacement Program, and the coordination of care between the hospital, the orthopaedic surgeons and therapists result in better outcomes for patients.
All patients who have had a joint replaced within the last year have been invited to attend with their families and support teams. At the game vs. the Windy City Thunderbolts, former patients will have a chance to reunite with their surgeons, nurses, hospital staff and therapists.
“We saw this as a way to celebrate our patients and the improved mobility they can enjoy thanks to their new joint,” said Anthony Czaplikci, orthopaedic surgeon with Orthopaedic Associates. “We are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication to recovery.”
The community is also invited to come. Free ticket vouchers will be available at every Orthopaedic Associates office starting today for anyone who wants to attend. There will be joint replacement information available before the game starts at 6:35 p.m. To learn more about the game, visit www.deaconess.com/calendar.
